Its a fact that hardware sounds better than emulations of synths its true and to physically use a synth is completely diferant experience yes hardware is much better. I spoke to a director of moog and asked why real hardware synths like the moog voyager are so expensive he said that parts and the cost to build them has risen a lot. Its a very hard time for musicians and bedroom producers to own physical hardware but then it always has. You can achieve a lot with plugs just look at the waves or Sony or ssl just to name a few they all are fantastic plugs. At the end of the day having a vst to control your moog is xclnt but it should be free to moog owners that would def put the icing on the cake.
